(Monsters of the North – ECM Core Credit Program)

1. Program Overview

The ECM Core Return Credit Program allows customers to receive a $300 CAD credit upon return of their original factory ECM after installation of a replacement unit supplied by Monsters of the North.

2. Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for the $300 CAD core credit:

• 
  The ECM must be the original factory unit from the customer’s vehicle.
  
• 
  The ECM must be complete
  
• 
  The ECM must not be disassembled, opened, or tampered with.
  
• 
  The ECM must not have been submerged in water or show signs of corrosion.
  
• 
  The ECM must not be physically cracked, burnt, or otherwise severely damaged.
  
• 
  The ECM must be capable of communication and restoration.
  

Monsters of the North reserves the right to determine eligibility at its sole discretion after inspection.

3. Inspection & Approval Process

• 
  Core refund is issued only after physical inspection.
  
• 
  Inspection may take up to 5–7 business days after receipt.
  
• 
  If approved, credit will be refunded to the original payment method.
  
• 
  If original payment method is unavailable, store credit may be issued. Or a alternative payment method will be arranged.
  

4. Rejected Cores

Core credit may be denied if:

• 
  ECM is water damaged.
  
• 
  Internal circuit boards are corroded or burnt.
  
• 
  Unit has been opened, soldered, modified, or tampered with.
  
• 
  Unit is missing components.
  
• 
  ECM is not the correct part number.
  

If the core is rejected:

• 
  Customer may request return shipping at their expense.
  
• 
  If no response is received within 14 days, the core may be recycled.
  

5. Shipping Policy

• 
  Monsters of the North provides a prepaid return label.
  
• 
  ECM must be securely packaged to prevent shipping damage.
  
• 
  Damage caused during return shipping due to improper packaging may void eligibility.
  

Recommended packaging:

• 
  Anti-static bag
  
• 
  Bubble wrap
  
• 
  Rigid box
  
• 
  No loose movement inside package
  

6. Time Limit for Return

• 
  ECM must be shipped within 90 days of receiving the replacement unit.
  
• 
  Returns outside this window may not qualify for credit.
  

7. Fraud & Misrepresentation

Any attempt to return:

• 
  A non-matching ECM
  
• 
  A junk or scrap unit
  
• 
  An intentionally damaged ECM
  
• 
  A core not from the original vehicle
  

Will void eligibility and may result in permanent disqualification from future programs.

8. Right to Modify Program

Monsters of the North reserves the right to modify or cancel the ECM Core Return Program at any time without prior notice.

9. Limitation of Liability

Monsters of the North is not responsible for:

• 
  Customer installation errors
  
• 
  Damage caused before return
  
• 
  Loss due to improper packaging
